Kaba Access Control Featured On The Discovery Channel's "It Takes A Thief"
WINSTON-SALEM, NC. December 12, 2005
Kaba Access Control of Winston-Salem, NC will once again be featured on an episode of It Takes A Thief: Big Burglar on Campus.
The episode originally aired in September of this year. This episode is scheduled to air on the Discovery Channel, December 15,
2005, at 5 p.m. Check your local listings for the time and channel.
The episode features a fraternity house at Rutgers University. Beyond the traditional fraternity house problems, the house
provided minimal deterrence for anyone who wanted to enter. The Discovery Channel cleared out the house, and used the Kaba
Simplex line of mechanical pushbutton locks to help facilitate access control for the fraternity. Once it was armed with the
Simplex locks, the students were invited back into their newly renovated house with improved keyless security that did not
impede authorized access.
