Kaba Access Control Introduces New UL Rated 2 3/8" Backset Latch

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, November 15, 2006

Kaba Access Control is pleased to announce that a 2 3/8" backset latch for use on an ASA 160-door prep is now available. The new latch is available on primary door locks, in addition to our standard 2 ¾" backset latch. This provides for easy installation for all commercial and residential doors, with an ASA 160-door prep (2 3/8" backset).

The 2 3/8" backset latch is available on Kaba’s Simplex mechanical pushbutton locks and E-Plex electronic access control locks, ncluding the following Series:

• Simplex 1000 Series
• Simplex L1000 Series
• Simplex 5000 Series
• Simplex 6200 Series
• E-Plex 2000 Series
• E-Plex 5000 Series
