Within the DORMA Group, improvements to sustainability are achieved for example by the use of green electricity or the development of innovative products with holistic life cycle assessments, high percentage of recycled content and -potential. For many products, DORMA Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) are available. That way, DORMA supports the transparency requirements of sustainable building certification systems. However sustainability does not only include environmental terms but also the compliance of material specific and environmental specific requirements which are summarized under the concept of Material Compliance (REACH, RoHS and Conflict Minerals etc.).
Sustainability is a cornerstone for DORMA to meet the guiding principle "Enabling Better Buildings" and provide comprehensive solutions for both the customer and the market.
