Official Contest Rules


Win an E-Plex® 2000 Lock with PowerStar™ Technology

Eligibility : No purchase necessary to enter contest. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Entrant must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) and Canada (excluding Quebec) and are at least 18 years of age.

The following are ineligible: employees of Kaba Ilco Corporation and other Kaba Corporations, and immediate family members of the above. Immediate family members shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses.


Agreement to Official Rules : Participation in the contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules and decisions of Kaba Ilco Corporation, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.


How to Enter : .How to Enter: Entrant must complete and submit the online "Register to Win an E-Plex® 2000 with PowerStar™" form with required contact information, located at www.kabaaccess.com, no later than 12:59 p.m. EST on June 29, 2012 or submit a postcard to Kaba Access Control, Win an E-Plex 2000 with PowerStar, 2941 Indiana Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC, 27105 with entrant's name, mailing address, phone number or email address no later than 12:59 p.m. on June 29, 2012. Kaba Ilco Corporation is not responsible for technical errors related to, but not limited to, computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines, printing errors, lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or undeliverable mail. This contest begins at 12:00 a.m. EST on February 1, 2012 until 11:59 p.m. EST on June 29, 2012. All materials submitted become the property of Kaba Ilco Corporation and will not be returned.


Frequency of Entry : Entrants are limited to one (1) entry per person. In the event, more than one (1) entry is received from any one (1) person, the first entry processed will be considered the only valid entry for the contest. Tampering of the online entrant process, such as but not limited to, automated entries will result in the disqualification of entries.


Other Rules : There is no cash value unless otherwise indicated. This promotion cannot be combined with any other offer, and the prize is not transferable. Prize winner is responsible for any applicable state, federal, or county taxes. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Kaba Ilco Corporation will not be responsible or liable in connection with injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of the prize.

Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use the winner's name, address, likeness, and photographs for any advertising and publicity in any media without additional compensation. For the name of the winner, send a separate, self-addressed envelope to: Kaba Access Control, Win anE-Plex 2000 with PowerStar, 2941 Indiana Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC, 27105. Requests must be received within fifteen (15) days from the end date of the contest. Canadian residents may omit return postage.


The Prize : One (1) E-Plex 2000 Lock with PowerStar will be awarded as a prize. This prize has a list price of $675. The winner will be entitled to receive only one prize. The prize will be shipped pre-paid from Winston-Salem, NC to the winner's address that was supplied by either the online form or postcard. Any additional services including, but not limited to, installation, programming, training are the responsibility of the winner.

The winner will be chosen at random on June 30, 2012 from all online forms or postcards that are received by 11:59 p.m. EST on June 29, 2012. The winner will be notified by email or verbal confirmation, and the winner's name will be published on www.kabaaccess.com . The winner must respond by telephone within seventy-two (72) hours of a Kaba representative's first attempt to contact the winner in order to be eligible to claim the prize. If the winner is deemed eligible, then the winner may be required to complete and send back an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release form by email or facsimile within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Public Release form. Failure to return the Affidavit/Release will result in forfeiture of the prize, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing.


Odds of Winning : Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
