Due to the widely publicized “bumping” technique by “hackers”, Ilco has developed an effective and cost efficient solution to the “bumping” security threat. This new product is optional and will make a standard Ilco pin tumbler cylinder “bump resistant”. Conversion Kits; containing Bump Halt pins and springs are available for Ilco Key-in Knob and Mortise/Rim cylinders. These Conversion Kits will allow the Locksmith and other Security Professionals to convert a standard Ilco cylinder to a “bump resistant” Cylinder.
