Ilco introduces an Engraving Machine

Kaba Ilco Corp, a member of the Kaba Group announced the introduction of the Engrave-It ™, a compact engraving machine that is the perfect complement to key duplication services.

The Engrave-It quickly and quietly engraves pet tags, luggage tags and brass plates however the big plus, it engraves keys! Consumers often have a difficult time distinguishing one key from another on their key ring. Stores can now engrave a cut key with words and descriptions (house, boat, mom, etc). The Engrave-It features a holder for engraving eleven of the most popular key styles.

There is virtually no training required to begin using the Engrave-It. The easy to follow LCD screen display guides the user through each step. A store could be ready to offer engraved tags and keys from the moment the unit is “plugged in”.

Engraving equipment on the market today is usually bulky and expensive. Pet tags are often engraved on a “self-service” type unit found at pet supply stores and discount stores. This compact unit fits on a standard counter top. Eight type fonts and a selection of “clip art” designs that are preprogrammed offers consumers more choices than are found on most tags and plates. The Engrave-It provides shops and stores with additional sales opportunities for engraving keys plus offering a range of ID tags & plates, providing new business.

Engrave-It comes with an assortment of 300 pet tags, three holders (keys, ID and pet tags), and templates suitable to copy and provide to the customer to fill in their information for engraving. The package also includes POP materials (two window decals, two shelf talkers and an acrylic display to display engraved tags) to help promote engraving services.
